SKEIYA Partners with Mindflight7 to Pilot Inclusive VR Education in Kenya
At SKEIYA, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to learn, play, and thrive -regardless of ability or background. Guided by our mission to create equitable opportunities through sport, technology, and education, we are proud to announce our strategic partnership with Mindflight7 to launch an innovative Virtual Reality (VR) education pilot in Kenya.
Across Kenya, more than 950,000 children with disabilities remain out of the formal education system. Many traditional learning environments are not designed to support neurodivergent learners, including children with ADHD, autism, and other unique learning needs. This reality demands new approaches that make education more engaging, accessible, and inclusive.
To help bridge this gap, SKEIYA is launching the Sports Central VR Centres –Kenya’s first dedicated VR learning and sports hubs designed to serve all children, regardless of ability. These centres will combine immersive learning experiences with sport, creating spaces where every child can belong, explore, and build confidence.
To power this vision, SKEIYA has partnered with Mindflight7, a global leader in immersive educational technology. Through this pilot programme, Mindflight7 is providing access to its immersive learning infrastructure, including a library of more than 200 curriculum-aligned VR applications that support experiential, interactive learning.

This partnership marks an important milestone in SKEIYA’s mission to build inclusive communities through innovation. Over the coming months, our Nairobi team will conduct demonstrations, engage schools and communities, and evaluate how immersive technology can improve educational outcomes for children from disadvantaged and special-needs backgrounds.
Together with Mindflight7, we are building more than a pilot =we are creating a blueprint for the future of inclusive education across Kenya and, ultimately, Africa.
